Postpartum
Support for mums after birth as your body adapts to recovery and the physical demands of caring for a newborn.
Postpartum support
Bringing your baby into the world, no matter your journey or birth choice, is no small feat. You did it, congratulations!
Your body has adapted over nine months to grow your baby, and now it’s adjusting all over again as you recover and care for them on the outside. From feeding and lifting to long days and broken nights, the physical demands of early motherhood can quickly build up.
Even though your baby is small, they can place a lot of strain on your body, and as they grow, so do those demands. This can lead to tension, discomfort, and feeling out of balance.
This is about supporting you, just as much as you support your baby.
What to Expect
It’s important that you feel supported and at your best, so you can care for your baby too. You’re very welcome to bring your baby along to your appointment, this is a space designed for both of you.
We will start with a thorough history and assessment to understand how you’re feeling, what your body has been through, and what you need support with.
Your care will be tailored to you and may include a combination of gentle chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work and rehabilitative exercises to support your stage of recovery.
